Delete your account

LingoMate by Indigenoustech

The primary way to delete your LingoMate account is in the app. This page is a backup if you cannot open Settings.

In the app

1. Open Profile → Settings.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

That signs you out and removes the account.

Backup: email

1. Send an email from the address used for your LingoMate account to hello@lingomate.site.
2. Subject: LingoMate account deletion request.
3. Include your account email and the sentence: Please delete my LingoMate account and associated data.
4. We will verify ownership and delete the account. Typical turnaround is within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account (email/password sign-in)
• People profile, birth date, and Plus entitlement
• Feed posts, photos, replies, and follows
• People chat messages and match data tied to your account
• Social notifications and device push tokens
• Blocks and match-queue entries

Google Play manages Plus billing separately. Cancel the subscription in Play if you do not want further charges.

What may be retained

• Limited safety or legal records (for example certain report metadata) only as long as needed — typically up to 90 days, or longer if required by law or an ongoing investigation.
• Purchase records Google Play keeps under its own policies.
• Aggregated information that no longer identifies you.
